Our team at Blaby Dental Practice is made up of highly trained clinicians and support staff who work together to provide safe, effective, and compassionate dental care. Each member of the team brings valuable experience and a shared commitment to patient well-being.

Clinicians

Adarsh graduated from the prestigious Kings College in 2005 and soon returned to his hometown of Leicester to establish himself.

Adarsh began working at Blaby Dental in 2006 as an associate. In 2009 he purchased the practice and started a project to thoroughly modernise and improve facilities for patients and staff. Over the past 13 years the practice has more than doubled in size after buying and extending into the adjacent building creating a modern and spacious six surgery practice.

Adarsh has gone on to further his skills and knowledge attending numerous courses with world renowned mentors to benefit his patient care. He obtained a Masters in Dental Science from Manchester University in 2014 and a post graduate certificate in Teacher Training from Sheffield Hallam University in 2013.

Adarsh is proud to be an accredited foundation dentist trainer since 2013, he has trained and mentored graduates at the beginning of their careers.

Adarsh is an accredited and certified Dental Phobia dentist since 2015, he prides himself on being a gentle and caring dentist having worked at the practice for over 16 years with a loyal and growing group of patients.

Adarsh enjoys generaldentistry seeing families and in particular helping very nervous and phobic patients overcome their fears. He uses methods in minimally invasive dentistry to save and enhance patient's natural teeth.

Hi, I am Saad and I perform the dental implant procedures at the practice. Having qualified from the University of Birmingham, I then went on to obtain a Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, having successfully passed further assessments through the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh.

Furthermore, at the University of Bristol and its affiliated centres, I later gained extended theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the placement and restoration of dental implants, as well treating more challenging cases referred in by other dentists. This culminated in a Master of Science degree in Dental Implantology, awarded with merit.
My work in Oral Surgery has given me the opportunity to research further aspects of this specialty and some of my findings have been nominated for a prize. I have also co-authored additional academic publications in the fields of Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine.

My interest in education has seen me become an approved Mentor through the Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology as well as an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Bristol, helping other dentists to develop and advance their dental implant related skills in everything from simple to more complex cases.

I appreciate the importance of keeping my skills up to date and so regularly engage in conferences, lectures, and education throughout the world. This in turn enables me to greatly expand and advance my clinical techniques for the benefit of patients.

Viren Graduated from The University of Birmingham in 2013, his caring and analytic approach to patient care is indicative of the modern and progressive outlook in dentistry, which is why his main focus is on prevention and patient education.

Viren also successfully passed postgraduate examinations through the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh and obtained a Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery through the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2014.

In 2020, he started his Diploma in Orthodontics, which is a field of dentistry he has always had a passion for since his time as a dental student. He successfully passed his examinations in 2022, with a joint top distinction award. He has experience in treating the full range of malocclusions, no matter how simple or complex, using a variety of machanics including fixed metal braces, tooth-coloured braces, lingual braces, removable braces, functional braces, clear aligners (Invisalign), and mini-screws.

Cosmetics is integrated into every aspect of dentistry. He is an accredited provider of a range of cosmetic orthodontic treatments including Invisalign Go, C-Fast braces and SmileTru clear aligners.

Viren also enjoys the surgical aspect of dentistry. To pursue this surgical path, in 2014, he undertook a Dental Implant Course at Harley Street, London, which is accredited by Stony Brook University in New York, USA.

Having grown up in Hong Kong, Brang moved to the UK in 2000, gaining his Bachelor of Dentistry Degree from Guy’s King’s & St Thomas’ Dental School of Medicine & Dentistry in London. Following foundation training, Brang continued working in a number of hospital surgical roles in London and Yorkshire before joining Blaby Dental Practice in 2010.
Brang has a keen focus on preventative and minimally invasive dentistry, working with patients to achieve long term oral health.

He continues to stay up to date with modern dentistry being a certified provider of Invisalign clear orthodontic aligners and has undertaken further training with an Advanced Restorative Dentistry course at the Tipton Academy.

Away from work, ideally Brang would spend his time playing golf and squash, but these days spends his time in his other full time occupation of entertaining his two young daughters.​

Dr. Muhammad Patel believes that great dentistry starts with trust and comfort. He graduated from the University of Plymouth, where he developed a strong foundation in modern clinical dentistry, and he continues to expand his skills through ongoing education in contemporary dental techniques.

As a general dentist, Dr. Patel enjoys helping patients of all ages maintain strong oral health and beautiful smiles. He provides comprehensive dental care with a particular interest in advanced cosmetic and restorative treatments, including clear aligners and composite bonding. Passionate about continuing education and improving his clinical dentistry, he has completed additional restorative courses in advanced techniques for composite restorations, restoring heavily broken teeth, clear aligners, and composite bonding.

Dr. Patel also enjoys dental photography, which helps patients better understand their treatment options while allowing him to carefully evaluate and refine each case to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Patel enjoys playing sports and actively contributing to the community through volunteering at local charities and events.

Hi, I’m Hannah.
I first joined Blaby Dental in 2020 as a Foundation Dentist after graduating from the University of Central Lancashire. After taking some time out to start my family — I’m now a proud mum of three — I was delighted to return in 2022 as an Associate Dentist.

I’m particularly passionate about preventative and minimally invasive dentistry. I believe that good oral health starts with education, and I always aim to make patients feel comfortable, informed and confident about their care.

In 2025, I became a joint Educational Supervisor, supporting newly qualified dentists as they begin their careers within the NHS. I really enjoy helping them build confidence and develop their clinical skills in those important early years.

Rajen graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2024. Driven by a commitment to excellence, Rajen has completed several postgraduate training programs to further his expertise, ensuring he remains at the forefront of modern cosmetic and minimally invasive techniques.

With a particular interest in composite bonding, teeth whitening, and conservative restorative dentistry, Rajen takes a meticulous approach to his work—blending function with bespoke aesthetics to emulate the beauty of natural teeth.

Rajen excels at putting anxious patients at ease by creating a relaxed and supportive environment through his calm and reassuring manner. He takes the time to understand each patient’s unique goals, guiding them through their treatment journey with clarity and open communication. Building lasting relationships and seeing patients leave with confidence in their smiles is what he values most.

Outside the practice, Rajen enjoys challenging himself by competing nationally in chess and staying active playing badminton.

Hi, my name is Gemma and I am a Dental Hygienist and Therapist at the practice. I qualified in 2003 in the Royal Air Force, training through the Royal College of Surgeons at the University of Edinburgh.

Following my time in the military, I returned to my hometown in Wales to work before spending three years in the Netherlands working in a specialist implantology practice. During this time, I also volunteered in Kenya with the Dutch Dental Foundation, providing much-needed dental care to underserved communities.

I joined Blaby Dental Practice in 2013 and have continued to develop my clinical skills and qualifications. Since working at the practice, I have completed an accredited course in facial aesthetics and achieved a BSc (Hons) in Oral Health Science from the University of Essex.
In 2025, I became an accredited Foundation Dental Therapist Supervisor, mentoring and supporting newly qualified therapists at the practice alongside our Principal Dentist, Dr Bhatt.

Outside of work, I am a proud mum to three children who keep me extremely busy. In my spare time, I enjoy socialising, travelling and keeping fit (you may spot us jogging around the village in our lunch breaks). I am also an FA-certified football coach for my local women’s football team.

I am passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a relaxed environment where patients feel confident and comfortable with their oral health and treatment needs. It is pleasure to work here at Blaby dental centre with such an amazing team.

She first joined the practice in 2017 as a trainee dental nurse, working alongside Dr Bhatt, and has grown within the team ever since, qualifying as a Dental Hygienist & Therapist in 2024 after graduating from the University of Birmingham with a clinical distinction.

Having developed her career at Blaby Dental Practice, Jaydon is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy gums and confident smiles through tailored oral hygiene advice and routine treatments, while ensuring every visit is relaxed, comfortable and positive.

Outside of work, she enjoys muddy walks with her dog and unwinding with a coffee and a good book.

Hi, I’m Pooja. I joined Blaby Dental Practice in 2025 and graduated in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from the University of Sheffield in July 2025. Since joining, I have really enjoyed building rapport with my patients and supporting them to improve their oral hygiene. Seeing the positive impact that good oral health can have on a patient’s confidence is the most rewarding part of my role.

Outside of work, my hobbies include kickboxing and going to the gym early in the morning, which gets me ready for the day. I also love travelling and spending time with friends and family.

I have been the practice Manager here at Blaby Dental Practice since 2007, bringing extensive experience and a recognised management qualification to the role. I work closely alongside the Practice Principal, Dr Bhatt, supporting the strategic direction of the practice and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and day to day operations.

I am passionate about creating a welcoming, efficient and well organised environment where patients feel comfortable and valued, and where the team can thrive with a strong focus on communication, teamwork and continuous improvement. I take pride in helping the practice run smoothly while maintaining a positive and supportive culture.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, interior design, travelling and growing my own fruits and vegetables. These interests reflect my appreciation for creativity, planning and nurturing growth- qualities that I also bring to my professional life.

Hi, I’m Codie. I joined Blaby Dental as a trainee dental nurse, where I completed my qualification and progressed to become a qualified nurse. I later took on the role of Head Nurse and have since worked my way up to Deputy Manager.

As Deputy Manager, I play an important role in keeping the practice running smoothly, both in front of the house and behind the scenes. I support the clinical and reception teams daily and work closely alongside our Operations Manager, Hayley.

My role includes managing rotas, reports, meetings, organisation, and providing team support to ensure the practice operates efficiently. I am often one of the first points of contact for employees and take pride in being approachable, organised, and bubbly.
I am passionate about creating a positive experience for both our patients and the team, supporting and motivating everyone to deliver excellent patient care.

Outside of work, I enjoy design, DIY projects and playing games. I love exploring new places and spending time with my partner, loving dogs, family & friends.

Hi, I’m Mandy. I joined Blaby Dental in 2017 and work as an Administrator within the practice. I am very passionate about my role and take pride in supporting both our team and our patients.

As Administrator, I ensure that all daily administrative tasks are organised and up to date, helping everything run efficiently behind the scenes. I love being part of what keeps the practice running smoothly and making sure our patients have the best possible experience.

I’m also a proud mum to my amazing boy! Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and son, as well as catching up with family and friends. I love watching films, dining out (I’m a big foodie!), and travelling whenever I get the chance.

Hi, my name Is Jessica and I am the Head Nurse and Aesthetics Practitioner at Blaby Dental Practice. I joined the practice in 2011 starting as a trainee dental nurse and receptionist. I then qualified with a Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing. I thoroughly enjoy being part of the patient journey, being caring and keeping patients at ease during their visits.

Over the years I have been on many different courses to expand and further my knowledge. I progressed to Head Nurse and Infection Control Lead. I have also trained in various areas within the dental field as an oral health educator, impression taking, scanning, photography, safeguarding and medical emergencies to name a few.

I have been providing facial aesthetics at the practice since 2023, after completing the combined foundation and advanced botox and dermal filler course. This is something I really find interesting and love helping patients feel more confident in themselves and enhancing their natural beauty. I am very passionate about skin health and would love to provide other skincare treatments in the near future.

I have proudly been part of the team at Blaby Dental for almost 7 years, building on over 30 years of experience as a Dental Nurse. Throughout my career, I have continually progressed in my role and I am now Lead Nurse and Treatment Coordinator for implants within the practice.

I work closely with my colleague Ellie, and together we are proud Ambassadors for the practice. We are passionate about promoting oral health within our local community, delivering free educational sessions to nurseries and schools. This is something I truly enjoy, as it allows us to give back, share valuable knowledge, and help improve oral hygiene habits in children from an early age.

Outside of work, I love running and going on long walks with my husband and our dog, Oscar. I also enjoy spending quality time with family and friends — especially when it involves good food, meals out, and, of course, holidays!

Hello my name is Ellie-Rose. With seven years of experience as a dental nurse, I’m passionate about helping patients feel confident and cared for at every visit. I recently qualified in dental radiography with the BDA and now carry out scanning clinics on Fridays. As a Denplan Ambassador for the practice, I’m proud to support patients in maintaining long-term oral health, and I love helping people achieve their dream smile through Invisalign treatment.

I’m also passionate about prevention and education. Alongside my colleague Catherine, I visit local schools and nurseries to teach young children the importance of brushing their teeth and looking after their smiles from an early age.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and my dog. I’m also an active member of an amateur dramatics company and love performing for our local community.

I have recently started my course in inhalation sedation to assist our dental hygiene therapist with administering inhalation sedation.
